About this data
Does AADT tell me how much traffic a road can still handle?
AADT is an observed or reported traffic volume. Available capacity requires additional operational, intersection, peak-hour and design analysis.
Can AADT be summed along a route?
Adjacent or coincident sections often describe the same traffic stream. Adding their AADT would double-count vehicles rather than estimate route demand.
